Energiatili (later ”service”) is owned by (later ”service owner”) Oulun Energia Oy.
By using the service, user (later “service user”) agrees to these terms of use. User has no right to use the service if the user does not agree to all these terms
The content of the service is protected with copyrights. Service owner keeps all the rights to material displayed on the site, unless otherwise is mentioned in the service. Using the material displayed on the site for any other purpose without a written approval from the service owner is prohibited. User has the right to save to their computer or print sites or parts of sites from the service
Service owner has the right to change the content and operation of the service and these terms of service for improvement of the service or other essential reasons. The service owner is not responsible to service user or third party for possible faults or deficits in the service or for direct or indirect harm caused by using or interpreting the information within the service. The service owner is not responsible for the suitability of the service for any specific purpose. The service owner is not responsible for possible interruptions of the service caused by for example maintenance, technical problems or other similar reasons or possible interruptions in the internet connection.
The service owner is not responsible for content of the sites or services that are linked to the service and that have been created or published by some other party than the service owner.
The username and password used for registering to the service are personal and the service user agrees to not give their username or password to a third party. If the service user wants to give their user account and access of rights to a third party, the service user must make a written power of attorney, which is sent to the address provided by the service owner. The power of attorney must have the following information: username, name, customer number, metering point ID, contact information for the service user, name of the third party, contact information for the third party, signatures, and the validity period of the power of attorney. The user that gave the access of rights to a third party must see that the rights are returned to them by contacting the service owner’s customer service. The service owner is not responsible for direct or indirect harm caused by visibility, usage, or interpretation of the service user’s information if the service user has given access of rights to their information to a third party.
Registering to the service using information that are not associated with the user’s contract with service owner is strictly prohibited. In case of misuse the service owner can freeze or delete the user account and start the necessary procedures with the authorities.
